Essay Topics
Wrote about how my parents often struggled with debt and bills and had very few resources as a result. Within this circumstance, I took advantage of every resource I could find and also learned many life skills and built good habits due to my life as a low income student.
My favorite prompts were the difficult conversations prompt, where I explained how I often get into debates due to my optimistic views on the world in general and how I learned more about myself and why I hold these views in the first place, and the song prompt where I wrote about how a Paramore song (Miracle) represents how I felt about going into adulthood and learning to let go of my worries and do what I believe makes me happy, rather than doing what anyone else wants.

- Performance/Outcome: Went horribly. Kept stuttering and pausing largely due to being unprepared. Also kept disconnecting due to bad internet, which caused some miscommunication.
