Essay Topics
I finished the summer before senior year and I'm glad I did. It was therapeutic for me. I talked about reclaiming my identity as a Black person and being first-gen African.

- Performance/Outcome: This interview was online. It was pretty good, and I connected with the interviewer as she lived in my city for a while. We talked for about an hour and a half.
- Princeton University
- Performance/Outcome: This interview was in-person. I was originally worried about it, but my interviewer was very kind, and it felt more like a conversation than anything. I had to think of a lot of questions to ask him on the fly.

I became pretty friendly with my counselor junior year and she left the summer before senior year. My counselor this year is the sweetest and we connected very easily but we didn't have much time before she wrote my essay so I'm sure it wasn't too crazy.
history teacher
I've worked a lot with him because he's also the advisor for the junior class president and for model un. The only reason I dock points is because he writes so many rec letters for people.
