Essay Topics
This essay was about how I felt I didn't fit in with the rest of my family because they all had a life in New Jersey that I never got to experience. It opened with how I believed that parallel parking had to be genetic, but the gene was just lost on me. I discussed life in Jersey and how there are portions of my identity that my family shares with me despite not being from Jersey.
AP Lang Teacher
We are super close and talked almost every day in class and by email once the pandemic hit. I have her again for AP Research and we talk constantly.
GHP Instructor
She was someone who got to know me in more of an intellectual context. We had a class discussion about race relations that I led and she said she'd never respected a student so highly.
APUSH Teacher
He really only knew me through Mock Trial because I was virtual, but he took a liking to me when he had me as a student. I always performed well in his class.
Guidance Counselor
We are really close and I go to her office almost weekly. We talk about personal life, school, her own daughter, and so many other things.
AP Physics Teacher
The only reason he was included was because I needed someone to speak to me struggling as a student. I didn't have the best relationship with this teacher, but he said he appreciated the fact that I was always willing to try.
