Essay Topics
Personal Statement was about my arrogance during high school and how failure taught a valUniversity of Alabama, Birminghamle lesson.
- Georgetown University
- Performance/Outcome: By far a great interviewer by someone who was honest but clearly enjoyed his time as an alumni and loved reminiscing about his time at Georgetown. We had a great conversation about campus, DC, and about other topics related to medicine.
- Stanford University
- Performance/Outcome: This interview was nice but the interviewer did not attend Stanford for undergrad but for grad school instead. Although he enjoyed his time there, it felt like he had some skeletons in the closet about the institution and even disclosed private details that made me rethink applying.
Anatomy Teacher
Had a great relationship with this teacher. She taught my favorite classes in high school. Would give higher marks but I was told she gives honest reviews to everyone including her best students but I always tried to keep a good connection with her and was invited to her retirement party.
AP Lit Teacher
Only had her for one AP Lit class but I greatly enjoyed it. Occasionally goofed off in her class but always engaged with the material and she seemed enthusiastic to write my rec letter.
Counselor
IDK, she asked for a brag sheet that provided my details but we never talked much.
