Essay Topics
My "why transfer" essay was focused on my academic journey, and how my medical incident in high school really influenced me to want to pursue medicine, which in turn made me much more passionate about my studies and self-actualization. I worked for a long time on it and I think it was pretty well written.
Research P.I.
I was always very ambitious in attaining the position and made some meaningful contributions, so I think that may have made for a good recommendation.
Biology Professor
I came to office hours and had meaningful conversations with him both about the course and research (his and mine). He told me that he wrote a very good recommendation.
Calculus Professor
I worked very very hard in this class. I never was good at math in high school, so I really had to step my game up for this class. I went to office hours a few times, and we had conversations about research and some of my goals. He also told me that he wrote a very good recommendation.
