Common App Essay

My common app was really good probably an 8/10, it was about being stuck on a mountain for a few hours and kind of how the fear there resembled the anxiety I had all throughout high school.

Interview Experiences
  • Northwestern University
  • Performance/Outcome: Very awkward, she asked a lot of questions like she was going through a checklist but didn't really make attempts to have an actual conversation 5/10.
  • Georgetown University
  • Performance/Outcome: It was awesome, she was extremely sweet, and we talked for quite a while. 8/10.
Letters of Recommendation
  • Counselor

Probably 2/10. Extremely unwilling because she didn't really understand the American process.

  • music teacher

8/10, pretty close relationship, I've known her forever and I tried pretty hard in choir.

  • English teacher

Probably 6/10, amazing writer but I didn't know her that well unfortunately.

  • humanities teacher

7/10, great writer but I only had him for one year but I spent a lot of time talking to him about social studies at breaks/lunch.
